We are certified panel doctors for the Laser Eye Center of Hawaii and can discuss your LASIK questions. Laser Eye Center of Hawaii has the most up to date technology in laser surgery and features the VISX Star 4 laser with Custom Vue technology for a more accurate, individual correction for your vision. Now with the addition of Intralase, LEC Hawaii and Fong Vision Center offers the ultimate in laser vision correction. We are now able to treat and prescribed medications for most non-surgical problems of the eye, including glaucoma. We now have the latest instruments to best diagnose and manage eye health conditions, including the Carl Zeiss Matrix Field Analyzer and Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) retinal imager. Facilities and Equipment

With our ability to now treat most ocular diseases, including glaucoma, we have incorporated several new instruments to aid in detection, diagnosis and management of these conditions. The Carl Zeiss Matrix Field Analyzer tests and detects damage to the optic nerve much sooner than other field analyzers by utilizing line doubling technology. This simple test can determine defects in the nerve for conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration. The Stratus Ocular Coherence Tamographer (OCT) can scan the tissues of the eye, creating a cross-sectional image and determine whether there is any damage occurring in the retina for conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, swelling and detachment. These tests should be covered under your participating medical insurance.
